Supply Chain Internship

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will join us for a 10-week opportunity, focusing on one role/assignment in either Planning, Procurement, OR Manufacturing. Our goal is to provide an introduction to the business, to roles and to teams with intern projects that align to our early career leadership program, 'SLP.' Intern projects will help build an early foundation to support readiness for SLP.

SLP is two-year rotational program offering high-potential, early-career talent with challenging functional rotations across core pillars of the Supply Chain. Rotations are partnered with comprehensive learning and developmental experiences that strengthen fundamental skills and knowledge, prepare talent for the Supply Chain of the future.

Supply Chain SLP Fast Facts:

  • Rotation cycles start in September annually.

  • Three, 8-month long rotations over two years giving SLPs exposure to our different businesses and how we work as one global team, united around delivering common goals that will support the future growth of Stanley Black & Decker.

  • Build core professional skills and competencies in Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing and/or Distribution.

  • Multiple touchpoints & networking with our dedicated Program Team, C-Suite Executives, SLP Peers, SLP Alumni, and GSC Leadership & Business Partners.

  • Upon successful performance, support is provided with post-program placement into roles that continue to demand excellence and leadership skills.

Intern Qualifications:

  • Interest in a leadership rotational program, which requires a willingness to relocate to business location within the same region.

  • Rising Senior, majoring in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Analytics/Planning, or other related majors.

  • Demonstrated leadership values & behaviors, and core professional skills such as problem-solving, initiative, communication, teamwork/collaboration.

  • Passion and curiosity for function and industry.

  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and build relationships.

  • Must show proof of citizenship and/or legal work authorization within the region/country where you are applying.

  • English proficiency – native or bilingual fluency

The pay range for this position in California, Colorado, Washington, New York, Maryland is $20- $23 per hour. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as major and years of school completed. This role is ineligible for benefits.
