JOB REQUIREMENTS: Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools. Move controls to adjust, start, or stop equipment during grinding and polishing processes. Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them in working machinery. Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met. Transfer equipment, objects, or parts to specified work areas, using moving devices. Mark defects, such as knotholes, cracks, and splits, for repair. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stainless Steel Finisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precision grinding, smoothing, deburring, and polishing of stainless steel components to achieve high-quality finishes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship. High proficiency in grinding and finishing to very specific and high-quality standards. Experience welding and finishing stainless steel. Ability to use abrasive belts and wheels for grinding and polishing. Strong attention to detail and ability to detect and correct defects.
