Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Enterprise Project Manager is responsible for the leadership and completion of medium to large projects, across multiple business areas and collaborates with Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) leadership to facilitate strategic decisions, manage the project portfolio; and can lead multiple projects simultaneously.

This position acts as a mentor to project team members throughout project planning, execution, closeout, and benefits realization. They embrace each project with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency to follow the processes and ensure that deliverables and timelines meet expectations, or as necessary, follow the structured change control process to obtain approval for changes that affect business objectives, time, cost, and scope. The Enterprise Project Manager will develop strong relationships with leaders and assist in understanding demand management of resources along with deliverables on projects within the portfolio.

This position will ensure all medium/large projects within their assignment will adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for project management as well as manage organizational change management, promote continuous improvement of project management related practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required:

  • Technical degree in Project Management, Communication, Business, Health Care, Physical Science, IT or a related field and Seven years of working in Project Management and two years working in a health care or similar setting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Communication, Business, Health Care, Physical Science, IT or a related field and Four years of working in Project Management and two years working in a health care or similar setting.

Preferred/Optional: Master’s Degree in Project Management or related field. Experience working in a structured PMO.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Project Management Professional (PMP) awarded by the Project Management Institute, or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) awarded by the Project Management Institute is required within two years of entry into the position.

Preferred/Optional: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Project Management Professional (PMP) awarded by the Project Management Institute, or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) awarded by the Project Management Institute at time of hire.
