Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Core Line Administrator (CLA) - Surgery Specialties, Digestive Health & Anesthesia Services is responsible for administrative activities including financial and operational performance as well as establishing quality goals from a strategic planning partnership with the Vice President of Perioperative Services and medical leadership for Surgery and Digestive Disease along with anesthesia medical leadership.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, management, or related field.

Preferred/Optional: Master’s degree.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Five years of executive healthcare experience within a complex health care organization including acute-care hospital operations, physician engagement and effective physician relationships and outpatient service delivery systems. At least two years of this experience must include knowledge in Anesthesia, General Surgery, Digestive Health (GI), Ambulatory Surgery, Operating Room, or comparable clinic setting with an understanding of the basic operational principles of reimbursement and regulatory issues pertaining to the Operating Room setting.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: If possess a degree in nursing, a valid Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Wisconsin is required. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
