Job Summary
The Optometry Assistant (non-certified) is accountable for assisting with the delivery of eye care to patients under the direction of an optometrist or optician, performing customer service, administrative duties, and technical care.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Optometry and healthcare experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (CPOA)
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; PRN, as needed
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$19.25 - $24.25 per hour
