Business Office Assistant
20-hour position
The Business Office Assistant is responsible so support the Business Office in billing and collection of accounts.
Recommended Minimum Position Qualifications
1 year medical billing or medical office support experience
The ability to handle multiple priorities and possess strong communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and billing/eligibility software solutions: Point Click Care, Inovalon preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Attend weekly reimbursement meeting
Perform triple check to review
Correct all skilled/Part B payers as needed
Coordinate with Medicare Specialist when claims are ready for Core Submission for Medicare A/B.
Monthly review of Medicare Common Working File for all Rehab B patients for changes/updates
Track and review all managed claims for follow up through payment
Post managed care payments
Bill Managed copays
Maintain Managed Care Aging
Support the Business Office
Mail distribution
Sending resident documentation to vendors
Ancillary entries
Process consolidated billing.
Other duties as directed by Business Office Manager
Our candidate should be a team player to work with the Business Office Manager and other facility team members to ensure the facility is successful in AR collections.
