About the Role
Plans directs and coordinates all QA activities
Facilitate and enforce the APQP process on new and existing products
Leadership in plantwide improvement activities driven by key measurement indicators KMI
Maintain integrity of key business activities inside IATF
Develop business plans and establish operating budget
Must meet departmental budget

Your Responsibilities
TECHNICAL
Providing inspectors with sufficient instructions and training to ensure efficiency
Assuring that the disposition of nonconforming items does not conflict with the quality policy
Active member of the Corrective Action Team
Verifying the implementation of solutions
Assuring that accurate and timely quality records and reports are maintained
Sign and approve Production Part Approval Process warrant
Represent Pullmatic Mfg at all quality related activities
Training and supervision of practices and procedures to meet quality standards
Review customer concerns report corrective action and interact with customer supplier quality personnel
Review all prototype and sample documentation evaluate all test results
Participate in APQP with engineering and production departments
Evaluate subsuppliers through periodic surveys of their system and facilities
Update and maintain IATF procedures and work instructions
MANAGERIAL
Manages the activities of employees in the department and distributes their work as necessary
Resolves work problems and recommends work measures to improve productivity
Controls working hours of employees within the department through ADP system ensures attendance is monitored and approves vacation floaters birthdays etc through Vacation Tracking system
Reviews work performance of employees within the department and makes recommendations regarding future work assignments and merit increases
Performs interviews and orientations as required
Ensures employees within department receive the proper training to complete their job expectations update technical training checklists in a timely manner if applicable
Ensures all workers are trained on and abide by related IATF and ISO 14001 work instructions at all times
Conduct regular departmental team meetings
Encourage good housekeeping at all times and complete 5S checklist on a monthly basis
Responsible for departmental financial budgets
GENERAL
Comply with legislative requirements including but not limited to Section 28 of the Occupational Health Safety Act
Use or wear equipment protective devices or clothing that Pullmatic Mfg requires to be used or worn
Report hazards to your supervisormanager that you are aware of
Will not operate any thing or work in a manner that may cause danger
Ensure IATF and ISO 14001 compliance
Awareness of all relevant customer requirements pertaining to your job function
Treat your fellow workers as you would like to be treated
Follow guidelines systems and rules as set out by Your Employee Handbook and Company policies
Keep your workplace clean and tidy at all times
Any other duties that may be assigned
Who we are looking for
Your preferred qualifications
University Degree in Mechanical or Quality Engineering
Minimum five years management experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
Global 8D and problemsolving techniques
Excellent leadership documentation and organizational skills
Excellent knowledge of IATF and ISO14001 systems
Excellent English language communication skills both verbal and written
Computer literate Microsoft Office Lotus Notes
