Job Description

This role has as primary responsibility to champion Business Excellence initiatives in country to improve the effectiveness, profitability and growth of commercial functions, whilst driving customer engagement transformation. Remit includes driving improvements in SFE, adoption and utilization of VEEVA CRM, generation of business analytics & insights, sales incentive design, multichannel customer engagement, embedment of strategic account management and enablement of commercial capability development. Same as stablishing strong KPI framework, and leading Omnichannel and digital capabilities.

  • Cascade & operationalize the International Business Excellence vision and story and drive local deployment of the Business Excellence strategy supporting country roadmap & strategic priorities

  • Lead the strategy and guide team developing and executing local plan ons:

  • sales force effectiveness initiatives. Ex. Track and manage sales force performance, drive corrective actions for relevant SFE KPIs, conduct territory alignment initiatives, ensure optimal sales force size and structure for all lines of business, develop capability strategies for future portfolio needs, and drive the implementation of alternate go-to-market models

  • CRM management & adoption. Own training and education to ensure compliance and drive productivity and multi-channel capability improvements aiming for simplicity and agility

  • Segmentation & Targeting - Collaborate with marketing to research, develop and define the strategy to profile, segment and target AA customers, manage the implementation of projects, identify and communicate best practice and measure success of approaches

  • Sales Incentive Operationalization – work with global C&B to shape annual Sales Incentive Schemes as to ensure competitiveness and motivational impact, whilst driving strategic behavioral change. Ensure that local SIP policies and structures are communicated, understood, managed and implemented in-country. Evaluate SIP health on a continuous basis to ensure alignment to principles of SIP policies

  • Work closely with commercial leaders to develop training plans that support organizational goals. And support training team in developing and executing capability framework and commercial team upskilling. Collaborate closely with global Talent (L&D) team, and local HR team to drive design and implementation of a first line manager curriculum

  • Commercial Analytics - Design & implement sales analytics to benchmark & measure sales force activity, sales momentum & growth and strategic drivers implementation. Responsible for defining and leading sales efficiency indicators (KPIs) through appropriate analysis and partnership wit sales leaders, and work with MKT in defining and measuring KPI framework for brand teams.

  • Multi-channel customer engagement & digital capabilities– collaborate cross-functionally to develop effective and efficient commercial channel- & go-to-market strategies to increase SOV and support brand strategies and strategic drivers. Support digital platforms go to MKT and maintenance in collaboration with BTS and project owners. Support the creation of a simplified and integrated digital ecosystem in alignment in int strategy.

  • Participate as AALT member in the corporate strategy development and be AA ambassador internally and externally

Qualifications

Education Must Have:

  • Equivalent to a four-year University education with emphasis in science and/or business.

  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in the CPG or pharmaceutical industry;

  • Previous cross-functional commercial experience (e.g. Sales, Category Management, Marketing/Trade Marketing, etc.)

  • Experience working in Health Canada regulated industries, within Beauty, Cosmetic, or Medical Aesthetics, is preferred.

  • Experience in senior sales management roles, and strong understanding and experience in Key Account Management

  • Track record in Commercial Excellence / Sales Force Effectiveness / Sales Operations, preferably within a Pharmaceutical / Healthcare company

  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset

  • Proactive and independent in bringing forward recommendations that ‘raise the bar’ to drive performance improvement.

  • Resourceful self-starter with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, eager to support both long-term strategic thinking and day-to-day execution of the plans.

  • Ability to take, process, and provide feedback constructively.

  • Creative thinking and open-mindedness to finding new or better solutions, with a genuine passionate or curiosity about the Aesthetics industry.

  • Demonstrated financial acumen.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to consolidate and integrate a wide range of inputs

  • Self-starter attitude and track record of seamlessly executing quickly on complex projects with minimal guidance.

  • Strong bias for action and results orientation
