Basic Job Functions: The Lead Electrician will be responsible, but not limited to, overseeing the electrical maintenance of area operations and all related equipment. They will support, train, and mentor the electrical team in projects and preventive/predictive maintenance. The successful candidate will actively find ways to improve Safety, Quality, Costs, Development and Production with the team. The candidate should possess the ability to be mobile, as possibilities present themselves, and should have the ability to promote past the current position. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
