Description We are in search of a meticulous Administrative Assistant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The role is based in Marion, North Carolina, 28752, United States. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the value stream manager, assisting in daily activities, and performing a range of administrative duties. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support to the value stream manager, ensuring smooth operations

• Assist in daily activities, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively

• Carry out a variety of administrative duties, maintaining an organized and efficient work environment

• Ensure accurate data entry into Excel, maintaining the integrity of our data systems

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service

• Manage email correspondence, ensuring prompt and professional responses

• Schedule appointments, managing calendars effectively

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to complete tasks and projects

• Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring up-to-date information

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proven ability in answering inbound and outbound calls efficiently

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly

• Experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficient in email correspondence, ensuring clear and effective communication

• Exceptional skills in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for managing emails and calendars

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating engaging presentations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
