JOB REQUIREMENTS: What you will do: This position is for a document control specialist in the Operational Excellence Department in the Johnson Controls Fire Suppression Organization. The role of the document control specialist is to drive a lean culture by creating a structured approach to managing all Johnson Controls documents in a systematic way. This role will work with minimal supervision to aid in regulatory compliance and consistent standard work for the Marinette site. This position reports to the Operations Excellence department, but partners with EHS, HR, quality, engineering, and maintenance to manage document control within the business. How you will do it: Use the Johnson Controls Management System to aid in the development process of controlled documents such as training plans, standard work, CIL\'s, change management documentation, control plans, PFMEA\'s, and other ISO compliance documentation needs for the site. Align with training coordinator for appropriate training documentation systems. Create standard work for reviewing/revising all control documents for the site. Coach and motivate cross functional team members to take positive action in creating, storing, and cataloging standard work documents. Create and deliver progress reports on newly created systems for ODS, CIL\'s, control plans, PFMEA\'s, etc. for support departments. Identify, escalate and help resolve regulatory needs for ISO and other compliance agencies to ensure the creating and storage of compliance documents. Communicate and work closely with other functional managers and leadership to aid in project plan completion, reduce rework, and utilize resources efficiently & effectively. Help develop best practices and tools to aid in project execution and management of change process. What we look for: Required High School Diploma required. 4 years of experience in manufacturing or technical projects in a functional role. Experience creating standard work, assigning project tasks, and facilitating meetings. Experience collaborating with cross functional team members showing professionalism. Competent in technical writing, sentence structure, grammar, and technologically able to take photos for the standard work documents. Good verbal and written communication skills.
