General Summary: Workers will perform duties specific to clearing new ground leveling, installation for new green house infrastructure for growing and harvest duties.\ Essential Functions:\ Building a greenhouse Structure- Assisting the construction team with applying the foundations, floors/ceiling slabs, roofs, exterior walls, exterior glass and mullions, columns, beams, of a greenhouse for the purpose of growing edible flowers, vegetables, fruits, and transplants.\ Hoop Installation- Workers will also be installing hoops, which can include but not limited to connecting steel bows, pounding, and leveling posts, and using plastic or other durable material for covers.\ Farm equipment may consist of tractors, backhoes, and bulldozers. Only properly trained workers will be permitted to operate farm equipment. Workers will use electrical hand tools such as drills, impact drivers, hammer drills, electric screwdriver, saw, welding machine, sanders, etc.\ Workers must take great care to ensure the safety of other workers, other equipment, themselves, trees, and the land. Workers must follow employers instructions to ensure safety procedures are followed. Once the land is cleared workers may spray fertilizers and other organic matter and run field rows and may also install irrigation systems to prepare fields for planting.\ Employees must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds prequently. Employees will be required to walk, stand and kneel, stoop and bend extensively. Employee must be able to use hand tools, including cutting knives and shears. Employees must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions, including rain, cold, heat and high winds. Employees must be able to work in temperatures that can range from 30 degrees Fahrenheit to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit during the time of employment. Work is performed based on weather temperatures, employees must be able to work in the day, evening, or nights. Employees will be exposed to dusty conditions, exposed to mud, and other natural elements. This work may entail exposure to plant pollens, insects, and noxious plants. At times, fields and crops on the farm will be treated with insect and/or disease control sprays, employees will be required to abide by the worker protection standards and re-entry times. Employees may be required to work in an outdoor environment or an indoor environment. Proper PPE must be worn at all times to include but not limited to, hand protection, slip\ resistant shoes, face coverings, etc.\ Workers are responsible for the general maintenance, cleaning and disinfection of the greenhouse structures. These duties include:\ Workers must perform visual inspections of the exterior and interior walls of the greenhouse looking for areas that need repairs. Workers must note any repairs that are needed such as loose screws, clips, bar caps are not missing or damaged. Workers will need to make the needed repairs.\ Workers will need to wash interior and exterior walls.\ Frames will need to be inspected to ensure any weak areas are repaired.\ Workers will need to ensure exhaust fans are working properly (shutters and vents). They will need to lubricate the components, check vents and shutters are working properly. Cooling pads will need to be regularly cleaned and disinfected.\ Heating systems will need to be checked, serviced and ensured to be in good working order.\ Floors and doors will need to be inspected to ensure there is no heat loss. Workers will need to replace weather stripping as needed.

Must have three months experience harvesting crops on commercial farm. Must be at least 18 years old, and legally authorized to\ work in the US. Must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order. Must be able to work in the hot humid eather for extended periods of time. Workers are subject to random drug testing at no cost to the employee. All drug testing will occur after the worker begins his or her employment and is not a part of the interview process. Failing or refusing a drug test will result in immediate termination.
