Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAINING OFFICER T32, Position Description Number PDD1179000 and is part of the AZ WAATS, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located with the WAATS in Marana, AZ. The purpose of the position is to function as the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the organization, representing the commander in oversight and conduct of all functions of the organization and is responsible to ensure the Commander's policies are implemented. Develops training, mobilization and safety plans and procedures for the command. Provides staff planning and assistance to insure that required training, safety and readiness objectives are achieved and mobilization planning requirements are accomplished. Activities at this level are concerned with the training of military personnel in a wide variety of occupations including clerical, trades and labor, administrative, technical, and/or professional skills. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: WO1/W1 - CW2/W2, or 1LT/O2-CPT/O3 Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess or are able to qualify for the MOS O1A GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulations, and procedures that otherwise validate the ability to perform or learn to perform the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Knowledge of Army or Air Force education and training programs regarding their principles and procedures. Experience in performing interviews and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction methods; task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and education and training systems and products; effective writing skills; editing practices; instructional media application, training reporting, program and curriculum validation, and implementation procedures. Experience in scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies. Experience in the capabilities of communicative interpersonal skill applications and distance learning concepts. Experience as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events. Experience includes knowledge in training centers, training programs, schools, and units. Experience in conducting or developing education and training programs. Experience conducting, supervising, or developing education or training programs. An understanding of the Army or Air Force education and training policy requirements. Experiences in working programs to include developmental education, voluntary education, advanced academic education, promotion testing, and libraries. Knowledge of audio-visual presentation, educational tests, and measurements, and instructing techniques. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
