Here, you will make an impact by:Providing direct leadership for product stewardship to ensure material continuity for critical and ongoing reformulation effortsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify second sources of supply for key materials used in Solventum medical/combination devices, drug products, and/or water/industrial filtration units.Facilitates product safety evaluations with subject matter experts, including partnering with toxicologists on biocompatibility data needs and test plans.Develop, implement, and execute processes to proactively guide development teams toward the use of favorable alternatives.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of experience in product stewardship, environmental sciences, quality, and/or technical field in a private, public, government, or military environmentORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND (14) years of experience in product stewardship, environmental sciences, quality, and/or technical field in a private, public, government, or military environmentANDAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Demonstrated leadership in process development, creative problem solving, project management, or lean six sigma experienceKnowledge of in the medical device industry and/or medical device quality management systemsGlobal regulatory compliance experience in one or more of the following areas: regional and global chemical regulations including but not limited to TSCA, REACH, RoHS, conflict minerals, consumer product safety laws, hazard communication, biocides, and/or global food contactExperience product life cycle assessments, product risk assessments, and/or making risk-based decisions.Expert cross functional collaboration skills with laboratory, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing functions and familiarity with their interdependencies through changeWork location:Remote - United StatesTravel: May incl de up to 10% domestic or internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
