As an Intermediate Environmental Professional, you will interface with clients and staff to setup, manage and report on environmental services related to upstream and midstream oil & gas facilities and regulatory requirements. The Environmental Professional will build and maintain positive client relationship focused on providing top quality service in a variety of environmental programs.
You will bring more than 3+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience in the Oil and Gas, mining, or renewables sector.
This is a permanent position.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinate and execute pre-construction environmental assessments, assessments and construction monitoring of access roads, pad sites, and pipelines.
Complete environmental approval applications
Assist with fish habitat assessments and mapping for various types of developments.
Coordinating and executing Environmental Impact Assessments
Coordinating and executing reclamation and reclamation monitoring programs
Complete detailed site assessments and vegetation management activities in forested, native prairie, cropland, and peatland settings
Complete Reclamation Certificate and/or Certificate of Restoration Applications
Prepare detailed technical reports, work plans and cost estimates.
Implement corporate and client safety programs.
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science or related discipline
Has or is eligible for professional designation (R.PBio, P.Ag., etc.)
Strong vegetation, wildlife, wetland identification and soil characterization skills
Proficiency in planning and control of work in a multi-project, deadline-driven environment
Ability to develop strong working relationships with individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
Able to prioritize work, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced, high volume team environment.
Proven ability to build relationships across various organizations.
Proficiency using GIS systems for desktop assessments, mapping, and field program development.
Proven ability to work in multi-disciplined and collaborative spaces with individuals and organizations with unique perspectives.
