Aston Carter Senior Accountant in Maple Grove, Minnesota

Description:

  • Journal Entry creation

  • Month-end close

  • Perform variance analysis

  • Maintain G/L

  • Account reconciliations

  • Perform reconciliations of company financial data, research variances, and adjusts as needed

  • Assist with financial and tax audits

  • Maintains corporate relations with customers, vendors, banking institutions, auditors, owner companies and other affiliates.

  • Works closely with financial institutions concerning banking activity changes, enhancements and charges.

  • Responsible for general liability insurance renewals and amendments

  • Update contracts with the company’s members and communicates changes to members accounting staff.

  • Prepares and provides financial statements, sales reports, commission reports, analysis, and other reports on a scheduled or unprompted basis

  • Confers with upper management about budgeting and reviewing strategies to meet overall goals and objectives.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Accounting

  • 2-5+ years of operational accounting experience

  • Experience with journal entry creation, month-end, G/L, etc.

  • Med device experience is helpful, but not a must

  • Excel - pivot tables and vlookups

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
