About the role

  • Our Solvay Peroxythai -AIE team, composed of 49 people, is integrated in the Production department and focuses on Manufacturing Excellence in collaboration with Maintenance and HSE.

  • As a Production Engineer, you will work on production and process to support plant day to day operations. You will get the opportunity to contribute to optimization/ improvement and have a positive impact on plant cost and performance.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • Ensure that all process engineering activities comply with HSE policies and regulations.

  • Propose the most optimal production conditions, taking into account cost and quality.

  • Assist the manager at critical moments in order to realize the production plans, and ensure troubleshooting when necessary.

  • Supervise maintenance assignments requiring specific study and analysis.

  • Resolve specific problems occurring during maintenance work.

  • Follow up production performance and propose initiatives to improve competitiveness.

  • Act as a liaison regarding technological matters towards other departments, suppliers and customers.

  • Support and advice staff in the resolution of complex problems.

  • Inform colleagues about and/or train them in new methods, procedures and techniques.

  • This position is a permanent employee and working at AIE site

About you

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualification.

  • At least 3 Years’ experience on production monitoring and improvement.

  • Competencies:

  • Fluent speaking and reading in English.

  • Some experience with process safety and other HSE aspects, preferably.

  • Behaviors:

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Thailand base pay reasonably expected for this role is 1,217,360 to 1,521,700, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
