Description We are providing a role in the industry of finance, specifically for an Accounts Payable Specialist, located in Mansfield, Massachusetts. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in a traditional workplace setting. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your role will encompass managing and processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and handling customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process vendor invoices and credit applications with accuracy

• Enter data into the system and ensure the details are up-to-date

• Handle approximately a few thousand invoices per month

• Utilize MS Dynamics/Great Plains for managing accounts payable operations

• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy of records

• Utilize strong Excel skills to manage, analyze, and report data

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required

• Ensure all accounts payable activities align with financial regulations and standards

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices.

• Demonstrated skill in data entry with a high degree of accuracy.

• Familiarity with MS Great Plains Dynamics software.

• Experience with entering vendor invoices in a timely and efficient manner.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Adept at maintaining confidential information.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

• Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role is a plus.

• Must have a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
