Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic Health System is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified General and Bariatric Surgeon to join an established and collegial practice in Mankato, MN. Successful candidates should possess excellent clinical skills. You may expect a busy practice in a physician-led, financially stable organization committed to both high quality care and patient satisfaction.
Candidates must be board-certified/board eligible in General Surgery as well as Bariatric Surgery. Surgeons must have training/experience and qualified skills in all areas of general surgery. Completion of Fellowship training in Bariatric surgery is required to apply. The general surgeon will be responsible for providing clinic-based consultations and surgical procedures in the hospital. Although most patients will be over age 16, the patient population may involve some pediatrics. Endoscopy is not required but is available.

License or Certification:
Board-certification/board-eligible in General Surgery and completion of a focused examination in Bariatric surgery given by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and/or a certificate from the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
