Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

Review sales orders, mechanical drawings, architectural drawings, structural drawings, and specifications to determine product requirements. Create product models using SolidWorks 3D CAD Software, utilizing standard templates, historical models, or creating solutions from scratch. Generate submittal drawings packages for customer approval. Generate production drawing packages for fabrication. Process engineering change order requests. Provide engineering analysis of designs to verify conformance to design criteria (including windloads and structural requirements). Provide engineering support to operations during the manufacturing of the product. Provide engineering support to Sales Team and customers. Complete daily inspections of products in fabrication. Create support documentation including specifications, product data sheets, and installation and operation instructions. Support R&D and product development projects.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mankato, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Collaborative work environment with cross-functional team support. Involves both office and on-site product inspection tasks.
