JOB REQUIREMENTS: Toolmaker Location: MANITOWOC, WI, United States Job Family : Manufacturing Job Type : Regular Posted : Aug 19, 2022 Job ID: 35150 Job Description As a Toolmaker, you will plan, construct, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, dyes, fixtures, and machinery where accurate relationship and fitting requires maintenance of very close tolerances. Use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, printing tooling layouts, obtaining prints and specifications, printing ship-sets, etc. Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Construct tools, jogs, fixtures, and special machines from drawings or where there is little or no design available Set-up and operate all tool room equipment, including but not limited to a mill lathe, CNC equipment and EDM Actively participate in department and process team activities and projects Qualifications Successful completion of a 4-year formal apprenticeship program (Journeyman Toolmaker) 3-5 years of post-Journeyman Toolmaker experience preferred High School diploma or GED 5-7 years of related experience is a strong plus EDM experience desired Limited heat treating and welding desired Must be able to operate all tool room equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, etc. Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
