Job Title: ReStore Customer Service
Basic Function: The ReStore Customer Service position is responsible for participating in all daily operations of the ReStore. This will be a position that will require a lot of bending and lifting at times.
ReStore Customer Service • Respond to customer needs including information on merchandise, assistance with purchases and donations, operating the cash register, etc. • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe store (free from any tripping hazards or falling objects) • Fill in for co-worker when absent or on breaks • Assist with off-loading and loading of items • Sort, price, and display merchandise • Familiarize yourself with Habitat and ReStore Mission and policies • Learn the FedEx Shipping process • Participate in staff meetings as needed • Implement ideas for increasing revenue • Implement ideas for increasing customer volume • Implement a plan for expanding quality merchandise donations
Job Type: Part-time
Compensation: Hourly - Pay is based on experience
Requirements:
• Retail experience preferred • Enthusiasm and teamwork focused • Well organized and detail oriented • Team player with a strong work ethic • Self- motivated, able to work independently • Possess tact, diplomacy, honesty, and flexibility • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multi-task • A valid Driver's License and your own, insured vehicle • A high school diploma or higher education preferred • Ability to lift heavy items
