RELX INC Marketing Specialist in Manila, Philippines
The Marketing Campaign Specialist II will closely work with stakeholders from different marketing/business segments to strategically and timely execute marketing campaigns through creating the campaign elements in marketing automation tool (Eloqua), and managing the development of other campaign assets (i.e., design and digital assets) by liaising with key internal support groups.
This role will ensure that the campaigns and marketing assets are compliant with the marketing and branding guidelines.
This role also entails pulling of campaign results in marketing automation tool and reporting it back to stakeholders.
The Marketing Campaign Specialist I will also be tasked to execute some process, campaign improvements, A/B tests and the like.
Responsibilities
Planning and Execution management
Plan how to best approach development of marketing materials including but not limited to eDMs, web banners, blog posts, social media banners, flyers and brochures so campaign can be launched in a timely manner
Manage the launch of campaign materials by coordinating development with other marketing resources
Act as first level quality control of marketing materials ensuring these are created with the campaigns’ objective (i.e., awareness, leads, retention etc.) in mind
Ensure that campaign materials are aligned with company’s branding and marketing guidelines before execution (e.g., trademarks, visual branding, terms and conditions etc.)
Responsible for getting sign-offs from stakeholders before launching materials
Proactively manage and update the campaign marketing team tactic calendar (e.g. WIP lists) and trackers
Build relationships with internal customers, and internal/external partners for smooth planning and implementation of campaigns;
Check data list of target audience and get approval from stakeholders; process refresh of data list for reminder eDMs
Manage stakeholder expectations on campaign implementation and reporting
Execution
Liaise with internal stakeholders to execute and implement integrated marketing initiatives and campaigns, including EDM, collateral development, online and print advertising and copywriting, proofing, design, and printing;
share results with key stakeholders in sales and marketing;
Presentations and briefings to the sales, telemarketing, customer relationship and order fulfilment teams to ensure effective implementation of each campaign or marketing initiative;
Marketing automation
With the campaign objective in mind, develop campaign assets such as emails, landing pages, forms and templates and design appropriate customer journey in the Marketing Automation tool (Eloqua)
Ensure that the customer journey and the integrated marketing campaign elements are designed to fulfill the campaign brief requirements from stakeholders and suggest improvements / modifications
Report campaign results to the business; and
Reporting and performance measurement
- Post campaign analysis, track results and report back to Marketing Managers
Others:
Administrative tasks such as but not limited to updating the campaign marketing team tactic calendar, trackers etc.
Leadership tasks (e.g., mentoring/coaching juniors, leading strategic projects etc) as assigned
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Communications equivalent
2-3 years experience in existing Marketing Automation role using tools like Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot or similar
Basic HTML coding knowledge
Experience or working knowledge of Salesforce will be an advantage
Current or some prior Business to Business Marketing experience preferred
With working knowledge of integrated marketing (i.e., traditional, digital), branding, and marketing strategies
Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills
With a good understanding of Business to Business marketing communications
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Well organized and highly motivated
With strong analytical and research skills, and a keen eye for detail
Proactive and very willing to learn and explore new things
Confident in giving recommendations yet open to feedback and not hesitant to seek help
Good eye for visual design
Ability to anticipate the implications & consequences of situations & to take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies
Able to make decisions & act in situations in which there is not enough information to be certain of outcome/implications of the decision
Has good time management and negotiation skills, customer service orientation and strong attention to detail
Can work independently and is also a team player team; has a strong commitment to performance and team success
With proven leadership experience or shows leadership competencies
