Job Classification: Exempt, Full-Time Staff

Compensation: Salary Grade 10 (\$40,562 \$65,913)

**Please note: the minimum salary for this position is \$40,562 per year. Target beginning salary is\$53,237. Actual salary will be determined based on candidates experience and education.

Reporting Relationship: Vice President of Operations.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Instructional Technology Specialist supports faculty with the campus Learning Management System and provides general application support for all employees and students.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate and communicate with College IT staff to ensure alignment of efforts to optimize use of college technology for teaching and learning, and for enhancing capacity of services to students, instructors, and college staff.
  • Provide tier 1 technical support for faculty application support, including LMS, instructional applications, and classroom technology.
  • Provides instructional design, to include the development and/or conversion of course materials for delivery of face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses to support faculty through consultation and collaborative course design.
  • Oversee integration of new technology into existing MATC infrastructure.
  • Oversee and collaborate with the Information Technology Team to research, create, pilot, implement, sustain, expand, and evaluate instructional technology utilization across academics, to include research, development, and implementation of new technologies and softwares.
  • Collaborates, assists, develops, and participates in facilitation of professional development workshops and symposia, particularly with regard to course design, online teaching, and technology-enhanced instruction.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
