Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Systems Administrator in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role is crucial to our operations, where you'll be managing both Windows Server and Workstation environments, handling Active Directory Domain Services, and working with virtualization technology. Your responsibilities will also extend to network and cloud administration, as well as managing client systems remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and Windows Workstation environments (Win7, Win10, Win11).

• Handle user and group management, group policies, and DNS within Active Directory Domain Services.

• Employ Hyper-V for virtualization technology.

• Understand and manage networking concepts including VLAN’s, VPN’s, routing, and switching.

• Work with network devices like routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Sonicwall).

• Administer Microsoft O365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD integration.

• Handle backups, recovery, and file restoration in cloud backup platforms (e.g., Axcient, Datto).

• Familiarize yourself with RMM software used for monitoring and managing client systems remotely (e.g., N-Able, Connectwise).

• Apply basic to intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity, including threat detection, antivirus management, and patch management.

• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.

• Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to manage complex issues.

• Work collaboratively within a team environment; no lone wolf mentality.

• Adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.

• Maintain good documentation practices, configurations, and incident resolution. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.

• Proficiency in Windows is mandatory.

• Expertise in Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, and Windows Server 2019 is required.

• Ability to work with Windows Workstation is essential.

• Applicant must have hands-on experience with Active Directory.

• Knowledge of DNS is a prerequisite.

• Experience with Hyper-V is necessary.

• The candidate should have strong skills in Network Administration.

• Proficiency in VLAN is desirable.

• Experience with VPN - Virtual Private Network is required.
