Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist for an amazing organization in Manchester. This position is for candidates with the ability to to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Manchester, New Hampshire area and is a permanent employment. Use this exciting opportunity to advance your career.

Your responsibilities

• Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

• Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

• Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

• Produce full-cycle A/P

• Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

• Assist with internal and external audits as needed

• Carry out additional projects as required

• Provide support to internal business partners

• Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

  Requirements - Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

• Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
