We have an opportunity available for a senior support worker to join the team at our residential care home , Syrian House, based in Manchester M33 5AL. The service is has been rated 'GOOD' in their last CQC inspection. Please click here for further details about the service.

The Role:

As Senior Support Worker you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities ensuring values based support is delivered to the highest standard. You will be supporting adults with mental health illnesses on a person centered basis. Tasks will include following a care plan, medication administering, accessing the community & domestic tasks such as support with shopping and daily living tasks.

Work rota includes evenings, weekends and public holidays. Sleeping in on site is a requirement of role.

Shift pattern would be Late shift (13:30 - 22:15) after which you would do a sleepover, then an early shift (07:00 - 14:00) the following day.

in addition to the annual salary you would be paid a sleep in rate of £40 per night. Therefore with regular sleep in shifts you potentially could earn up to £25,000 per year.

Contract Available: 1 x 37 hour Permanent Contract and 2 x 37 hour 6 month fixed term contract with possible extension to 12 months.

Candidates must have experience of administrating medication in a large residential or similar care setting.
