WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Ensure that the company's accounting records are captured correctly and in the corresponding fiscal period.

The Accounting analyst will have a direct impact on our business group, responsible for:

· Support month-end accounting closing activities and helps ensure that all reporting data properly loaded into SAP.

· Assists in preparing support for internal and external audits.

· Scrutinizes monthly financial results and performs variance analysis versus plan, forecast and prior periods.

· Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.

· Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries.

· Tracks cost trends and facilitates understanding of departmental expenses.

· Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and pursues business process efficiencies via Crane Business System.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Business or Accounting.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the finance field, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.

  • Advance Excel skills required.

  • ERP experience.

  • Desirable knowledge: General Ledger, Taxes, Excel, SAP
