The MR Business Development Manager for Emerging Markets is a business line position focused on identification of new growth opportunities and development of business plans to drive new investment opportunities, and to build new partnerships necessary to meet the demanding goals of the MR business in Siemens Healthineers. This individual will manage operational projects to the MR market and Siemens market share expansion supporting existing and future MR business with analytics, internal education, and project management.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that is ambitious, has a desire to drive and own a unique MR solution, and works well in a team-environment. This position will also ensure business growth through directing and managing strategic partnership & business development activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.
This role reports to the Senior Director of MR Business Development for MR Siemens Healthineers USA.
Drive sales of industry-unique MR scanners in emerging markets including untapped entrepreneurial practices and new care delivery segments
Gather, analyze, and leverage market intelligence to strategically position Siemens MR business in these emerging markets
Develop and deliver customized value-based business and financial propositions tailored to each new market, identifying critical customer decisions and reimbursement trends for setting up new MR services
Develop and deploy sales tools for targeting and achieving MR sales success in emerging markets
Create strategic plans for targeting new markets and develop programs aligned with Business Line strategy involving both local and global Business Line leadership, where appropriate
Collaborate with and support Zone Sales Teams to achieve assigned business targets for dollars, units, margin, market share, and activity.
Track and report national key business data for respective market segments
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Strong Communication (written and oral) skills and leadership skills
Results-oriented to ensure achievement of the targeted profit, customer satisfaction and market share goals
Analytical skills for market intelligence management and targeted execution of measures
Team-oriented with demonstrated effectiveness at motivating colleagues and team members to produce the best results
High-level of critical thinking skill and creativity to bring successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems
5+ years of Healthcare experience in the field of customer relationship or business management
Required travel: 30%
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
10 years of Healthcare experience in the field of customer relationship or business management
Master’s degree or higher
