Description

One of our thriving clients is looking to add a Financial Reporting Manager/SEC to their successful finance team. This candidate should have strong data analysis, systems and operations improvement experience as they will be responsible for the reporting and financial analysis process including preparing financial statements and reports, fixed asset management, grant accounting, budget management, and assist with process improvement and internal control guidelines. This Financial Reporting Manage/SEC will also build lasting relationships with business partners and external auditors. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong technical accounting abilities, high attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.

How you will make an impact

· Generate monthly, quarterly financial reports & statements

· Account Reconciliation

· Budgeting & Forecasting

· Coordinate internal and external audits

· Build and establish strong client relationships

· Complete trend and variance analysis

· Perform financial forecasting

· Monitor SOX Internal Controls

· Recommend areas for revenue generation

· Assist with ad hoc projects

Requirements

The ideal Financial Reporting Manager/SEC candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for this Financial Reporting Manager/SEC position include and are not limited to:

· 5-25+ years experience in Financial Reporting

· CPA and Public Accounting preferred

· Financial services background a MUST

· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
