An Automation and Industry 4.0 Manager is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Malvern, PA area. This role entails leading the development and execution of the CertainTeed Roofing Automation and Industry 4.0 strategy, managing a multidisciplinary team, and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and drive business results.

responsibilities:

• Develop strategies to modernize obsolete motion, controls, and automation hardware and software for machines and processes.

• Establish a robust plc and firmware backup strategy.

• Assess gaps in culture, knowledge, and utilization.

• Champion the FaCTory + program implementation.

• Identify and monitor key measures to ensure project success.

• Troubleshoot system performance issues and propose system improvements.

• Support the discovery, review, and alignment of initiatives to strategic objectives.

• 5+ years of engineering experience in an industrial environment.

• 2+ years of experience with project management.

• 2+ years of experience in Automation.
