Services company located in the Greater Philadelphia Suburbs seeks an Assistant Controller with global expertise. The responsibilities for this role will consist of maintaining daily accounting operations, overseeing the monthly and quarterly close process, preparing journal entries, assisting with audit request, maintaining the general ledger, monitoring internal controls, preparing P& L and balance sheet reconciliation, and assisting with treasury and FP& A transactions as needed. The ideal Assistant Controller for this role must have knowledge of GAAP, current industry trends, and excellent auditing skills.

Your responsibilities

· Oversee the daily cash flow process

· Prepare financial packages

· Coordinate the quarter, month, year end process

· Monitor and manage the timely processing of billing

· Process financial schedules

· Account Reconciliation

· Reconcile corporate credit card invoices

· Implement process improvement where needed

· Confirm regular account reconciliation to completion

Requirements

The ideal Assistant Controller will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.

Other requirements for the Assistant Controller role include and are not limited to:

• 6+ years of accounting experience w/ SEC reporting knowledge

• CPA a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Strong Excel

• SAP a huge plus

• Manufacturing industry experience
