What You’ll be Doing
Do you have a passion for organization and perfecting small details? Are you task oriented and love helping others? In this role, you’ll interact with IAG member tolling agencies, client agencies, and other team members to research, answer questions and solve problems while performing back office and administrative type functions, related work and special projects as requested. Whether it’s getting answers for internal customers quickly or resolving their issues with a smile, you’ll be the difference between their customer experience being just average or an exceptional one.
You'll report to the Finance Manager. You’ll contribute to the success of the customer experience as well as the overall success of the team .
For this New York, New York United States-based position, the expected base salary is $21.50/hr.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
·Examining, analyzing, and interpreting financial information for preparing reconciliations and other financial reports
·Reconcile financial transactions and reporting through assisting with completion of quality and performance audits
·Leading and coaching financial team clerks on client and company goals and expectations.
·Partnering with the Finance team and other departments to meet goals
·Resolve escalated work and projects by figuring out why something isn't working or what is needed otherwise
·Support the customer service team by dotting the i's and crossing the t's to complete the customer experience
·Ensure accuracy of data and research to ensure a positive experience
· Sending and validating documentation, working in databases to check information correctness
·Organizing and archiving completed work for future reference
What You Bring to the Role
AA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
1 years' experience in financial analysis, and in-depth forecasting/planning.
Ability to set clear expectations and supervise the completion of work adhering to set deadlines
Knowledge of the Microsoft suite (especially Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint)
Reporting and analysis experience, adept with large datasets and comfortable with statistics and modeling
·You lead by example and work with your team to contribute to the overall success of your client program
·Comfortable with decision making by assessing the situation, researching potential solutions and making recommendations
·A solution-oriented mindset to ensure happy customers
