Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries is looking for an innovative candidate to join the Technology Development & Integration team to develop Embedded Non-Volatile Memory ( eNVM ) features on our technology platforms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Materials Science including Depositions, Advanced analysis techniques and characterization. Especially important will be ability to integrate novel films into a foundry production flow with awareness of thermal budgets, etch rates/selectivity, interaction with downstream eTest and Reliability of existing transistors in the base flow and qualification of the memory element.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Feature rich process d evelopment in various technologies including FINFET and e NVM technologies.
Collaborating with process module & packaging team in driving process solutions .
Working with TSD & BU to oversee the scope of projects and ensure that all technical needs are catered to .
Recruit and train exceptional employees to fulfill required positions within the technical field .
Driving technology cost reduction & process convergence .
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree with 5 + years of working experience in relevant field. Degree must be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline .
Experience of leading engineer team, developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
Strong project management skills, particularly focused on managing schedules, scope and cost trade-offs of projects .
Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD with 5+ years of working experience in relevant field. Degree must be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physic s or other relevant engineering physical science discipline
Experience in unit processes such as PVD/CVD/ALD Deposition, Litho /Reactive Ion Etch/OPC, Cleans, CMP.
Strong background in FEOL/MOL/BEOL process development and characterization knowledge .
Understanding of upstream/downstream interactions in terms of Process Assumptions for lateral Critical Dimensions or vertical height budgeting are desired.
Results oriented and focused on quality of work
Excellent structured problem solving and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, clients, as well as internal and external partners
Strong presentation and technical writing skills
Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment.
Expected Salary Range
$118,200.00 - $223,200.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
