Principal Account Clerk - Assigned Counsel
Civil Service Eligible There is currently an eligible list in effect from which candidate(s) will be contacted for their interest in the vacancy. OR Provisional Appointment Pending Civil Service Exam to be announced at a later date A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration; or B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's Degree in Accounting or Associates Degree in Business Administration and two years of experience in maintaining financial accounts and records; or C) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four years of experience in maintaining financial accounts and records; or D) An equivalent combination of experience and training defined by the above limits. Special Note: Education: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States and its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency.
