About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for an Director of Sales and Marketing in Jumeirah Olhahali Island.

  • Develops and oversees the execution of the annual commercial plan, setting and achieving sales targets aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Drives innovative sales and marketing initiatives, providing leadership to enhance business performance and market presence.

  • Establishes and ensures adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and operational standards.

  • Upholds Jumeirah Brand Standards, ensuring consistency across all sales and marketing activities.

  • Regularly evaluates departmental processes to maximize profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.

  • Continuously assesses product offerings and branding strategies, ensuring a creative and innovative approach to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Demonstrates and maintains a professional appearance that reflects the brand’s high standards.

  • Collaborates effectively with internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Fosters open communication through regular one-on-one and team meetings to ensure alignment and engagement.

  • Identifies and nurtures strategic relationships with business partners to drive growth and opportunities.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales leadership roles, with at least 2 years as Director of Sales and Marketing capacity.

  • Background in high end luxury hospitality with experience of working for a similar setting in Maldives.

  • Strong business acumen with experience of handling luxury leisure market knowledge.

  • Strong sales business development experience in the hospitality industry with proven records of relationship with key business partners of luxury segment.

  • Strong understanding of the destination and evolving market trends in the luxury space.

  • Forward planning and ability to adapt quickly and lead the team in delivering exceptional results and business goals.

  • Strong team player and works alongside with the management and other departments to foster team work and delivery exceptional guests experience.
