School Reporting Coordinator/Data Entry

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Reporting Coordinator at MVRCS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely data submission for various reports and maintaining student and staff data in the school's Student Information System. You will also be responsible for coordinating important school events and assisting in various school-related projects. This position reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent of Finance & Operations.

Job Specifications:

  • Shift: Monday-Friday

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.

  • Previous experience in data management or reporting coordination.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in using Student Information Systems (experience with PowerSchool is a plus).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Submit MA ESE SIMS, EPIMS (with HR), and SCS and SSDR reports on specified dates.

  • Facilitate the Charter School February 15th Claim form.

  • Coordinate the Sibling Verification Reporting in June.

  • Administer student and staff data using the school's Student Information System (currently PowerSchool software).

  • Register and complete paperwork for all new students, including inputting student and family data.

  • Handle all withdrawal processes, transfer paperwork, and transcript records requests.

  • Conduct the annual Reregistration of all students.

  • Process paperwork for requests for free and reduced lunch.

  • Assist in preparing and processing meals reimbursement requests to MA ESE Nutrition Department.

  • Maintain a student file system for current and former students.

  • Maintain a separate legal file and communicate with appropriate school staff regarding student custody issues.

  • Facilitate the collection and reporting of graduate plans for Seniors.

  • Coordinate and oversee the annual input of all scheduling information into the student information system and end-of-year roll-over.

  • Assist in coordinating planning for Open Houses for new families.

  • Help plan the annual school lottery.

  • Conduct January Kindergarten Orientation and oversee the screening of new students.

  • Facilitate waitlist reporting for Sibling and regular applicants.

  • Work with School Leadership and Administration to develop and maintain various school reports and maximize the use of the student information system.

  • Assist School Leadership in other school-related projects assigned by the Leadership Team.

  • Perform various other duties assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Finance & Operations.
