This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

Job Scope

Our Malchin location is one of the world's most advanced production facilities for pectin, a natural thickening and stabilizing agent.

In this position, you will be responsible for operating and controlling multiple production equipments with a focus on safety, quality, quantity, and effective energy use.

Responsibilities

  • Control and monitor production processes, machines and systems and maintain the required documentation in a continuous shift system.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues within the scope of possibilities.

  • Observe and evaluate important equipment parameters and trends.

  • Communicate with the shift supervisor about process analyses and adjust equipment parameters.

  • Perform simple quality analyses.

  • Maintain and clean equipment parts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed technical vocational education, ideally in the food or chemical industry.

  • Language skills: Fluent in German, both spoken and written

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office

  • Willingness to take responsibility, communication and critical thinking skills, good social behavior, and team player.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift license: advantageous, can be obtained if necessary

  • English language knowledge (basic) - desirable
