Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver/facilitate new hire training for Coding Training DRG CVA & other areas depends on where the trainer may get cross skilled into e.g. Coding Academy

• Deliver new hire and incumbent job specific training using innovative methods that increase retention and enhance cost effectiveness, basis approved standardized curriculum

• Deliver ongoing refresher training based on development needs

• Responsible for getting Train the Trainer Certified by the Onshore/offshore Training Team

• Responsible for measuring and tracking pre and post training performance

• Responsible for tracking assessment scores

• Organize, coordinate, and communicate training programs for the business

• Provide feedback on regular basis

• Partner with leadership to provide coaching during training

• Provide feedback to management on individual and group training results

• Provide feedback to the instructional design team

• Training Development

• Review and update training materials as needed

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• College Graduate

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• 2 years of DRG CVA experience

• Minimum required relevant years of experience: Minimum of 2 years in DRG CVA experience

• Experience in DRG CVA | AAPC Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) or AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) | Great communication skills

• Proven self-Motivating attitude

• Ability to facilitate diverse groups of people

• Proven team Player

• Proven attention to detail

• Quality focus

• Flexible to travel depending on business requirement to conduct training from different sites

• Shift/holiday: Day Shift (but must be flexible) / PH Holiday

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in Inpatient (IP) coding | AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
