The successful candidate will have experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other technical software and will use their technical skills on a variety of projects. The location of the position is in Manila, Philippines. You will be part of our Environmental Services GIS team working on a variety of projects based in British Columbia.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide CAD drafting assistance for a wide variety of projects, from report stage through design and construction.

• Draft site plans, cross sections, presentation graphics and figure production to support project deliverables.

• Work closely with engineers, project managers and other team members to ensure coordination of drafting effort.

• Complete design redlines and/or markups and ensure reviewer comments received are addressed.

• Ensure CAD standards and styles, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.

• Work on Windows platform, Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel), and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

• Monitors own work to ensure budgets and deadlines are being met in a timely and effective manner.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CAD experience in a CAD environment.

• Established knowledge of Autodesk’s software suite, AutoCAD and Civil3D.

• Demonstrated ability to understand and maintain CAD standards.

• Ability to utilize/import raster and vector data including digital orthophotos, global positioning data, and geographic information system data.

• Proven data management, attention to detail, organization and presentaton skills.

• Ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships in diverse and interdisciplinary team environments

• Experience with the following would be considered assets: ArcGIS, Autodesk Revi, Bentley MicroStation

• University, college, or technical institute graduate with a Civil Technologist, Geomatics Technologist Diploma or Degree.

• Ability to work the night shift schedule.
