Job Description

The opportunity

This Content Lead is responsible for driving performance through the funnel – from building awareness and driving consideration, to nurturing prospects and engaging customers – by managing and activating a content strategy. The role is expected to work closely with the brand, propositions, and digital marketing teams to effectively connect and fuel Manulife Philippines’ digital leads program.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the regional content strategy with strong consideration for the Philippine’s business objectives, our target audiences, and our distribution force.

  • Communicate the global brand strategy across different channels and platforms to reach our target audiences.

  • Leverage the content marketing framework to drive KPIs through the funnel.

  • Work with creative agencies to ideate and produce a variety of short from and long form content (i.e. short digital videos, articles, ATL/BTL collaterals)

  • Transcreation of content from the regional content repository for use in our Public Websites.

  • Curate existing content and produce new content for the different Public Websites.

  • Execute external content marketing strategies to drive quality traffic to the Public Websites and increase organic reach

  • Manage editorial governance.

  • Work with the propositions and digital marketing team to produce content across paid, owned and earned channels.

  • Partner with the propositions and digital marketing teams to design and execute a full funnel digital targeting and content personalisation program.

  • This will include building solutions that enable Manulife to deliver the right message to the right audience at scale. This may include dynamic creative optimisation, email templates, personalised landing page templates etc.

  • Partner with local and regional digital marketing and content teams to execute the process and ways of working, to underpin the digital marketing and content program.

  • Partner with digital marketing, to design and execute a test and learn roadmap to determine optimum delivery and orchestration of personalised content through the funnel.

  • Champion learning and sharing of content best practices.

What we are looking for

  • A natural storyteller with exceptional creative skills and a journalistic mindset to continually generate original content across a range of formats – from copy and infographics to video and audio – for different platforms and audiences.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and proven experience working with such teams to connect content to a company’s digital marketing activity.

  • Strong organisation skills to effectively manage budget, content calendar and content partners.

  • A strong understanding of content orchestration and personalisation for different customer segments throughout the purchase journey. Preferably, hands on experience executing these activities in previous roles.

  • Results driven to ensure that commercial outcomes are being delivered from our content.

  • A natural collaborator who can work across a global, regional, and local marketing structure, and build strong internal partnerships with cross functional stakeholders (marketing, distribution, technology etc.)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in content marketing-related roles within an agency and/or as a brand’s content leader. Experience in Financial services (insurance/bank/investments) is a plus provided you can still think outside of the category norm.

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
