Market My Market Part Time Accounts Receivable Specialist in Maitland, Florida
Market My Market is looking for a part-time accounts receivable specialist to manage the accounts receivable and invoicing in Quickbooks Online, for a fully remote digital marketing agency. This position will report directly to the Director of Operations and will work closely with the CEO and Account Management team.

About the Role
We’re searching for a skilled financial specialist to process, track, and record client invoices and payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner in quickbooks online. The person in this role will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our clients and our vendors.
The person in this role will create, send and monitor monthly invoices to our approximately 90 clients. They will submit client payments via credit card and ACH. They will check accounting records and classifications in quickbooks for accuracy, pay commissions to the sales team, and organize company documents.
This person in this role will work remotely, will be available to answer questions from teammates and clients during east coast business hours and must be in one of the following states:
Colorado
Florida
Illinois
Iowa
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
Texas
Virginia
The salary for this role is $30 to $40 an hour, commensurate with experience. As part of the hiring process for this position we will be running background and credit checks, calling references, and assessing for attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Prepare invoices for clients
Monitor invoicing and money collection processes
Maintain proper filing of invoices
Address any questions clients have about billing.
Will provide financial and administrative support by ensuring vendor invoices/bills are processed and expenses are controlled by receiving vendor invoices, processing, verifying, and reconciling vendor statements according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner
Provide accounting support and all other duties as assigned
Properly classify and reconcile expenses and income in Quickbooks Online
Respond to all vendors inquiries via phone or email as well as maintain internal and external relationships with vendors and clients to assist them in solving AP/AR issues
Review all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and routing for approval before payment is processed
Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts
Communicate discrepancies to leadership team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates
Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts
Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement
Qualifications
Proficient in QuickBooks Online required
Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable including receipt of invoices, expensing to correct accounts, and routing for approval
Strong analytical and administrative skills
Detail oriented and organized
Able to multitask and prioritize
See tasks through to the end
Excellent data entry skills
Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
Demonstrates sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Able to work autonomously and independently
The salary range for this position is $30 - $35 hourly. This is a part-time, fully remote position. Applicants must be available during east coast business hours.
