Description

We are in search of a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in the CPA industry, based in Maitland, Florida. As a Bookkeeper, your primary role will involve managing all aspects of accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and using financial software for bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aspects of accounting functions including journal entries and general ledger accounting

• Undertake balance sheet reconciliation tasks for accurate record-keeping

• Utilize double-entry bookkeeping to maintain precise financial records

• Use financial software like CSA and/or QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping tasks

• Process data entry tasks effectively

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Handle payroll responsibilities

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Maintain and update customer credit records accurately.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a CPA Firm or similar industry.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping is highly valued.

• Strong data entry skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in handling Payroll.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

• Relevant certification or degree is preferred.
