To enhance our spa offerings, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Spa Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary: As a Spa Therapist at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of spa treatments to our guests, ensuring their utmost relaxation and satisfaction. This role requires a professional with a passion for wellness and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a luxurious setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of spa treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other therapeutic services.
  • Assess guests’ individual needs and recommend appropriate treatments to enhance their well-being.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all treatment areas and spa facilities.
  • Ensure all spa equipment and products are used and stored correctly.
  • Provide guests with detailed information on spa treatments, services, and products.
  • Create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Stay updated on the latest spa trends, techniques, and products to offer the best possible service.
  • Assist with spa reception duties, including booking appointments and managing guest inquiries, as needed.
  • Uphold the Waldorf Astoria standards of excellence and professionalism in all interactions with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or diploma in massage therapy or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury spa or resort setting.
  • Proficient in various massage techniques, facials, and body treatments.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide personalized and attentive guest service.
  • High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
