Role reports to: Director Marketing – Fem Care

Location: Mumbai

Travel %: 15 %

Role Purpose

The Group Product Manager in Fem Care will be responsible for a designated Fem Care portfolio. The candidate will be responsible to deliver brand and business outcomes by designing and executing brand plans, activations and delivering innovation to strengthen brand preference with Consumers. The candidate will be closely collaborating with cross functional teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering br and and business outcomes (Sales, Share, Awareness and Equity parameters) : Develop end to end understanding of consumers journey to identify key growth drivers. Design and execute an Integrated Brand Plan to deliver business and brand objectives (ATL and BTL). Driving data-based decision making by applying analytics to business metrics, forecasting and overall portfolio management

Delivering Product & Commercial Innovation:

  • Working on pipeline claims & product development to deliver business goals. Ownership on end-to-end product development, from ideation to launch by liasoning with Region/Global teams and the CFT

  • Building the Brand Purpose framework which will define successful campaigns and Communication of the future

Integrated Communication with consumers: Conceptualizing and execution of integrated brand campaigns with compelling content that brings alive the science and superiority behind our product

Digital & Performance Marketing : Being digital first in approach to media-mix while targeting Consumers, with focus on campaign optimization and driving efficiencies

Managing Brand Marketing Expenses : Efficiently and effectively allocating brand marketing expenses across initiatives, touchpoints to drive brand objectives

Internal & External Partnerships:

  • Conducting and analyzing user research to understand consumer needs with the Insights team

  • Close collaboration with Media, Brand Activation, Brand Communication and PR agency in order to deliver the marketing objectives

  • Regional Franchise Teams: The candidate would drive interactions & dialogue with Regional Franchise Teams to give strategic direction for relevant portfolio for India that meets consumer needs

  • Cross-organizational collaboration: Liaise closely with multiple cross-functional teams (Sales Team to activate marketing strategy in the local environments; Regulatory & Compliance Teams to ensure adherence to all regulations; Supply Chain and Quality Teams for demonstrating distribution/network efficiencies)

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Post Graduate studies in Business Management

  • Total experience – 6 years of experience with 3 years in Marketing of consumer health brands preferred; sales experience in FMCG is preferred

  • Experience in digital touchpoints, performance marketing for FMCG will be preferred

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Has knowledge and past experience of working with Brand Equity, HHP, Nielsen retail data, U&A and Media Mix modelling data sets to analyze and drive business opportunities

  • Strong Commercial Acumen to identify distribution and sales opportunities in close collaboration with sales team

  • Past experience with P&L Management, New product development , Launching Integrated marketing campaigns

  • Have practical experience of Agency and Vendor Interfaces and Negotiations
