Job Description

The Business Intelligence & trade Channel Manager has two complementary and important roles:

1) Will work closely with the Associate Director, Sales & GM defining the commercial strategies which cover discount policy development and implementation, supply optimisation practices, routes to market analysis, corporate accounts and pharmacy relationships and any other commercial initiatives that drive domestic revenues. In alignment with sales and marketing strategy he/she will be responsible for the development and delivery of value-added services to commercial partners such as pharmacies and AA accounts to maximizing Allergan Aesthetics´ domestic revenue through these channels. He/she will need to manage commercial negotiations, performance tracking and competitors defence strategies. And secondly manage DT1, DT2 and e-commerce customer as part of the different channels

2)Will be responsible for develop and managing the Sales analysis to improve and develop the dashboard & analysis that will drive insight to the BT and IFT.

Contributes to the definition of commercial policy to maximize domestic revenue across working with the to ensure best practice is adopted and implemented effectively. Review these policies on at least an annual basis ensuring they continue to achieve stated aims and ensure that commercial policies are in line with the changing competitor environment.

  • Work with Associate Director, Sales, Finance and General management to identify opportunities to increase domestic revenue and market share from new and adapted local commercial policies.

  • Works with Associate Director, Sales, Finance and demand planners to ensure supply forecasts are aligned to domestic consumption forecasts.

  • Ensure commercial strategies have the appropriate approval from the International Business Excellence team, are compliant with all internal policies and comply local laws and legislation.

  • The BI & Trade Manager is the lead in market for implementing agreed supply optimization processes across all departments (customer services, legal, commercial, finance etc.) and products.

  • Extraordinary orders are monitored and supplied in line with approved processes.

  • Manages communication with all impacted parties to ensure Allergan complies with any legal requirements for supply optimization.

  • Manages relationship with targeted pharmacy/corporate accounts negotiating the placement of AA products to support commercial strategies agreed with the Associate Director, Sales.

  • Develops and implements agreed value add services for these customers such search of new business or other added value services, creating benefit for both parties. Leading ad-hoc projects.

  • Tracks performance and ensure adherences to any commercial agreements with these key parties. Responsible for renegotiation and termination (in agreement with Associate Director, Sales & General Manager) of any agreements not achieving its commercial objectives.

  • The BI analyst part of the role should create high performance teams helping them to develop the appropriate winning with data minset , helping the teams with the best in class data analysis and business insight.

  • Create the winning with data mindset.

  • Develop the right dashboard to track sales and performance across the brands.

  • Market data research analysis.

  • Develop opportunities base on market insight

Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of previous experience in similar role for pharma and/or medical device business.

  • Experience in commercial policy development.

  • Experience of pharmacy/wholesaler/ corporate accounts management.

  • Has a consultative approach; strong customer orientation and engagement; implements services to meet customers’ and organization’s needs.

  • Seeks and acts on customer feedback resolving difficult issues in a timely manner.

  • Quickly understands business operations, able to identify key opportunities and levers to develop business plans; excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence and negotiate effectively; focused on execution and delivery of results; uses initiative.
