Hyatt Restaurant Manager in MADRID, Spain

Description:

The Restaurant Manager in pursue is responsible for overseeing the operation and actively participle in strategical decisions for El Jardín de Diana, one of the most popular rooftops in Madrid and a business that has skyrocketed in the last few months. Welcome to the challenge!

The candidate must have plenty experience in dynamic ambiances and high rotational outlets in order to “own” the floor and become a reference for the current hard working team.

Main duties:

  • Oversee of operations of 2 different ambiences (indoor and outdoor) with 2 performing bars.

  • Communication, coordination and team up with Kitchen team is a must.

  • Interdepartmental coordination for the correct operation on the business and guaranty adequate guest service

  • Maintaining restaurant´s standards of service and ensure their implementation

  • Cash management and financial controls

  • Exercise quality and cost control for the venue operations.

  • Short and long term planning of the Outlet Operations in the front and back of the house (including admin, sales and marketing involvement).

  • Becoming active part of strategical plans and budgeting is required.

  • Develop and recommend the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans

  • Implement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programs.

  • Team management: development of employees tasks, duties and careers.

  • Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance reviews.

  • Customer service management: Resolve customer complaints and create customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years in F&B Management roles.

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Service oriented style with a high end notch for our 5*hotel guests.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people. Both, clients and team members.

  • We look for an energetic and motivational leader.

  • Microsoft Word and Excel control will be highly valued.

  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

  • Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts. The outlet modifies offer at least twice a year.
