Responsibilities

Weatherford have a great opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join the team in Spain. This position will require to work in Vinaroz during the operational phase of the project (5 months). This is a two year fixed term position.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the effective and efficient provision of operational support to the project in all areas and departments as well as being responsible for project planning and operations coordination including but not limited to the tasks as below.

PLANNING

• Prepare the Project Execution Plan.

• Prepare a detailed planning and budget for operations.

• Coordinate HSE documents, procedures and programs.

• Coordinate studies with service companies to identify potential cost savings using new technologies.

• Assist the PM to prepare the strategy for each call for tenders.

• Coordinate subcontractors communications and processes.

• Participate in the technical workshops with 360 Energy.

• Client representative toward some contractors for dedicated services.

• Develop direct and indirect procurement processes for the provision of services and acquisition of goods as required by operations according to the policies and standards of the company.

• Prepare action tracking logs and follow the implementations.

  OPERATIONS

• Ensure planning of the operations are in line. Report all deviations to the Project Manager.

• Liaise with different product lines to coordinate the timely supply of services.

• Liaise with logistics and transportation companies to make an efficient logistics process.

• Report of the daily drilling and cost reports of the Operations.

• Prepare tickets and collect support documentation in a timely manner to facilitate invoicing processes.

• Assist in the reporting to the ISP / area management when required.

• Prepare and coordinate quality review with service companies.

• Preparation of the weekly performance report.

• Follow the preparation of the End Of Well Reports of the service companies.

• Participate in monthly safety meetings.

• Coordinate with Enagas personnel trips from offshore.

• Distribution of all documentation and logs for local parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline or equivalent experience.

• 2 + Years experience in a similar project based role.

• Excellent language skills in Spanish and English – written and spoken.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with reading, analysing, and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

• Familiarity with mathematical operations such as frequency distributions, test reliability and validity, variance analysis, correlation techniques, and factor analysis.

• Skill in examining tenders, market conditions and operational requirements.

• Complex problem solving and analytical skills.

• Work effectively across a diverse multicultural multilingual community.

• The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

• Proficient Microsoft Office and computer skills.

• Additional language skills ie German would be beneficial.
