Description and Requirements Lenovo’s Global ESG team is presently hiring a CSRD/ESG Reporting – Project Manager . This role will be part of Lenovo’s corporate ESG team which is responsible for Lenovo’s overall corporate ESG strategy, commitments, and reporting.  This role will be focused on ensuring Lenovo meets corporate-level non-financial ESG reporting and disclosure requirements, specifically emerging EU and other European ESG and related disclosure requirements, including but not limited to EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), EU Sustainability-Related Disclosures (SFDR), UK Climate Related Financial Disclosures and other similar requirements.  This role will work closely with other corporate level ESG reporting experts and SMEs across the company to ensure Lenovo complies with new EU and European ESG-related disclosure requirements: Supporting assurance to meet new EMEA requirements. Supporting implementation of processes to comply with greenwashing requirements and other regulations and programs that guide disclosures around ESG topics (for example, French Carbon Law, Belgium Consumer Law, EU Greenwashing and Green Claims Regulations).  You will join a team supporting EMEA environmental regulatory requirements (internal and external), taking guidance from EMEA ESG Senior Manager and working closely with other reporting SMEs (based in the USA).  Structurally, the position is part of the EMEA Environmental, Social and Governance team, that is integral part of Lenovo Global ESG team and reporting under Global Legal Team. Specific responsibilities include: Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that the organization complies with the requirements set forth by the CSRD, including tracking developments in EU and other European ESG and related disclosure requirements, working with focal points internally and externally to understand impacts of new reporting requirements, understanding the regulatory framework and staying updated on any changes in legislation related to sustainability reporting. Establishing processes and programs to ensure compliance to these disclosure requirements, including Reporting tools / Reporting Framework Development (RFD): Implementation of structured reporting framework that aligns with CSRD requirements, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately captured, reported, and approved. Maintain and continuously improve this reporting framework. Data Collection and Management: Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of relevant sustainability data across various departments. This includes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics that need to be reported. Support Active Stakeholder Engagement and Sustainability Strategy Alignment to ensure reporting strategy supports key stakeholder expectations and aligns with Lenovo’s overall sustainability strategy ; Report Preparation :  working closely with Lenovo global ESG reporting leads in preparation of required elements of CSRD and related EU ESG reporting requirements. Assurance:  Support ESG data quality measures and coordinate with assurance partners to ensure  ESG reporting data are credible, successfully assured and meet the required standards. Other Activities as Needed:  such as training, continuous improvement, performance monitoring and communication. Requirements: Masters Degree; Eight years of ESG, environmental reporting (such as CSRD, EFRS, GRI, TCFD, ISSB), environmental compliance, or related experience.
