In this exciting opportunity, we are looking for a Large Capital & Robotics Associate Therapy Sales Specialist to join our dynamic Cranial Spinal Technologies (CST) team in Iberia. In this role, you will focus on leading the onboarding of new Large Capital hospital sites, training surgeons and hospital staff, supporting procedures on the correct use of the equipment, and mentoring local technical specialists at the hospital and CST sales representatives. You will organize and collaborate in the clinical evaluations of large capital equipment done in the hospitals.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

• Lead, coordinate, and execute new large capital & robotics installations, and support first cases in the operating room to drive utilization.

• Assist centers with clinical evaluations, (re-)trainings, and Operating Rooms (OR) support for complex cases involving navigation, intraoperative imaging, and cranial & spine robotics.

• Support case organization, keep relationships with surgeons and OR staff, troubleshoot, and schedule equipment servicing in partnership with the European Clinical Specialist supervisor and local team.

• Support the training and education of surgeons, hospital staff, and local Medtronic technical specialists, collaborating with the CST sales representatives.

• Assist with marketing activities to drive the adoption of Aible technologies. Drive safe therapy adoption, protect, and gain market share for Medtronic Cranial Spinal by taking a major part in opening new large capital and robotics centers.

• Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting problems related to large capital and robotic equipment, support the European Field Service Specialist when needed, and operate with a high level of autonomy. Act as a liaison between sales personnel and customers on technical issues.

Must Haves

• Bachelor´s Degree in Life Sciences, technical, engineering, bioengineering, or another relevant degree

• A first experience in a similar role preferred

• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken

• Technology savvy

• Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, and in a team

• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset and positive attitude

• Willingness to travel – around 80% of a time

• Willingness to work flexible hours

• A curious mind eager to learn about a wide range of products

• The working territory is Spain, and you will be expected to be located in Madrid

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of technical equipment such as surgical navigation, imaging and/or robotics

• Good knowledge of the OR environment

• Knowledge of Spine procedures (anatomy, pathology, treatment)

• Knowledge of the CST processes

• Fluent in Portuguese
